<raptop> I saw that website a while back, and realized that it was useful to link!
<raptop> Also, like win+S (and the fact that the windows gamebar lets you do video capture) is nice!
<raptop> (...I say as I IRC from a laptop that came with Ubuntu)
<Pinkbeast> I'm kind of back on KSP again now I've got a slightly more vigorous computer, aiming to circumnavigate all the things I haven't circumnavigated (ie, everything outside Kerbin and moons)
<Pinkbeast> I have a rover, a Laytheboat (Scatterer recently added _actual waves_ which are the best thing ever), a means of getting onto and off Eve, a half-designed life support stage (USILS makes this nontrivial for a multiyear mission), and a pleasantly mad Orion dV unit / rover lander
<Pinkbeast> Oh, and a bunch of SCANsats launched to everywhere and a 2/3 finished electric charge reform mod
<raptop> Shiny
<Pinkbeast> It's become enough of a Project that I've started using emacs org-mode :-/
<Pinkbeast> The realisation that neither Laythe nor Eve require an amphibious vehicle was a relief.
<raptop> I'm surprised on the Laythe one
<Pinkbeast> Ah. Laythe doesn't require an amphibious vehicle because your boat doesn't have to cross the land :-)
<Pinkbeast> The surprising one is Eve, where a polar route can avoid the sea.

<Pinkbeast> I'm certainly shunning that :-)
<Pinkbeast> Plus, we know it's not dangerous to kerbals, which is fortunate because I have rather showered the KSC with angry rocks in the course of Orion testing

<raptop> Kerbals: more radiation resistence than the characters in a RAH novel

<Pinkbeast> Also significantly less annoying
<raptop> hah
