<x3ro> Hi there, I hope I'm right here. I'm trying to get the principia mod running but it doesn't seem to work.. I extracted the files of "principia catalan.zip/GameData/" to the "GameData" of the KSP install directory and started the game but it does not seem to work..
<x3ro> I can't tell exactly if it is running but the moons around Kerbin or Jool do not seem to be influencing each other. Also I've seen that one of the Jool moons has an inverted orbit direction compared to the vanilla game but this is not the case for me...
<x3ro> I'm on Windows 10 64 bit and I'm starting the KSP_x64.exe. Can someone help me please?
<xShadowx> does the navball change when you're in space?:)
<xShadowx> ^ easy indication if installed correctly

<x3ro> Let me see, I do not have a savegame where I'm in space (I just started playing again and have lost my old savegames from about 2 years ago). When I do a training mission, the color does not change however. I'll build a rocket in sandbox mode and see if it's changing there once im in space
<lamont> principia hasn’t been updated for 1.3.0
<x3ro> I'm now in low Kerbin orbit but my navball did not change (I've seen it becoming pink in a video, I think that's what you mean?). What I noticed is a green line that is connecting my vessel with the launch point
<x3ro> Oh, is there a way to downgrade KSP? I have it via steam.
<x3ro> Ah, i found a way to downgrade. I assume 1.2.2 is working?
<lamont> yeah 1.2.2
<lamont> and yeah it looks like properties->betas->previous_1.2.2
<x3ro> I alrady found it, thanks :)
<x3ro> Ok, I'll try this and let you know

<x3rAx> Indeed but I was a bit confused with this IRC thing (because I've never really used it with a real client, only embedded into websites with a single channel) so that I totally overlookt that. I was glad when I found the channel, because at first I was in some sort of "server"-channel
<egg> yeah, that technology takes some getting used to, but then https://xkcd.com/1782/
<lamont> i’ve definitely hit the “irc was so damn cool in 1990” point…
<lamont> i’d like to have an argument that all these channels should move to slack, but i strongly suspect i’d lose before i even got started…
<egg> lamont: I like that you properly use asymmetrical quotation marks and ellipses etc.
* egg works in i18n now
<egg> all hail ’“”
<lamont> i think its just my irc client =)

<Qboid> U+201D RIGHT DOUBLE QUOTATION MARK (”)
<x3rAx> Yeah, I know that one :D
<lamont> yeah, i think you need to be more impressed with the colloquy authors…
* UmbralRaptor ? lamont
<egg> UmbralRaptor: no stabbing people who properly use RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK instead of APOSTROPHE for apostrophes
<UmbralRaptor> egg: No, no. For moving to a subscription only service.
<egg> lamont: well, it mostly works, there are shitloads of clients, and we have tooling https://logs.tmsp.io/principia/
<lamont> yes, i said i’d lose that argument before i started
<egg> lamont: btw those logs are useful, you may want to bookmark that
<egg> lamont: also, have you been introduced to the bots?
<lamont> Qboid, yes

<lamont> ETOOMANYBOTS
<UmbralRaptor> How well does Slack run on devices with 1-4 GiB, bearing in mind that I'm on probably 25 channels on 4 IRC servers.
<egg> wait where is teabot
<x3rAx> Wow, what or who is Snoozee? :D
<UmbralRaptor> teabot is kill.
<egg> UmbralRaptor: let's not have this argument, I doubt that it can have any purpose
<egg> UmbralRaptor: D:
<lamont> yeah, i already admitted that i lost this argument before i starrted
<lamont> and i’ve got 32GB so it runs peachy =)
<egg> UmbralRaptor: btw, once lamont gets his CL submitted you can start working on principia again \o/

<lamont> the largest thread that slack has open seems to have 250M RSS so it needs at least that much
<lamont> IDK how much its threads overlap, but chrome has two 500MB RSS threads that do very different things so probably don’t overlap that much
<UmbralRaptor> AAAAA

<egg> when you send something it gets sent, if it starts with @ Soozee thinks it's for her, and then realizes you don't have privileges to talk to her and yells at you :-P
<UmbralRaptor> The macbook isn't mine per se, though.
<egg> UmbralRaptor: shouldn't prevent you from principiaing on it :D

<lamont> slack looks like it might fit tho
<lamont> slack should run fine on the 4GB 2015 MBA
<x3rAx> egg: I don't get id O.o :D Do you mean Sooze is a bot of Snooze? And what can Soosze do?
