<JohnWittle> Hey. I am trying to update "KSP Interstellar" from freethinker, but the file is a couple hundred megs, and ckan keeps picking the slowest mirror possible. I am wondering if there's a way to download the file and then put it in the CKAN dir somewhere and then make ckan think it downloaded it already and crashed or something?
<JohnWittle> I'd rather not change the mirror in the .ckan file for KSPI, because the faster mirror is unofficial and who knows when the maintainer updates
<JohnWittle> but I have the KSPI file, I just need to know where to put it to make ckan aware of it
<JohnWittle> the checksum is identical to the file ckan wants to download
<JohnWittle> ...oh. look at that. [mod id]-mod-name.zip in KSP/CKAN/downloads
<JohnWittle> but does that actually work? will ckan be aware that it's already downloaded if I place it there and then start ckan?
<JohnWittle> i have totally screwed up my ksp save before by meddling like this, ending up with a state ckan can't recover from with a bunch of half-unzipped files in my gamedata dir
<JohnWittle> so i want to be sure

<ckanbot> [CKAN] politas pushed 1 new commit to master: https://git.io/v9AU1
<ckanbot> CKAN/master a9ffdbd Myk: Merge #2050 Update build
<ckanbot> [CKAN] politas closed pull request #2050: Update build (master...update_build) https://git.io/v9d80
<politas> JohnWittle, you can't mess up your KSP save by placing a file in the CKAN/downloads directory
<politas> But you will need to prefix the filename with a hash. Give me a minute.
<politas> JohnWittle, rename the downloaded file to 6692191D-KSPInterstellarExtended-1.13.5.zip and CKAN will recognise it.
<ckanbot> [CKAN] politas commented on issue #2051: I'v renamed "Building CKAN under Linux" to simply [Building CKAN](https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Building-CKAN) and updated the build instructions in [Build Environment](https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Build-Environment). I'm not sure what changes need to be made in [Workflow](https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Workflow)? Do you mean updating the instructions for where to get a more recent versio
