<ninja81>
what if I don´t have logs :p
<ninja81>
mine is more of a general yet technical question
<Thomas>
Modders like to ask for logs
<Thomas>
Just ask your question ;)
<ninja81>
I´m messing a bit with lights in KSP... trying to make lights visible over a distance, without lighting the whole system
<ninja81>
I´ve tried adding halo/lens flares to lights, but it doesnt work

<ninja81>
so I thought bloom effect, but that requires rendering over the player camera, and I´m not sure how to do that or if it´ll even work either
<blowfish>
lighting the whole solar system is usually a result of some improper setup
<blowfish>
I forget what though exactly
<ninja81>
layers

<ninja81>
just scaling intensity wont work though, since lights will then be a single pixel
<ninja81>
the image effects should work, I´m wondering why they don´t... maybe KSP discards efffects or something, or I´m doing it the wrong way
<ninja81>
I´m starting to think I have to ´cheat´ the effects in by using a mesh or texture in a plane facing the camera
<blowfish>
ah, needs a "flare"
<blowfish>
I think that's usually done with actual geometry yeah
<Sarbian>
(replying without reading everything) If you light up planet then it might be a layer problem on your light
