<Azander> I have a "cheat battery" I use when testing stuff, so I don't have to turn on infinite fuel/power I can turn it on/off selectivly on my battery. The power doesn't seem to honor the on/off any more.
<Azander> checked the logfile, no errors
<Azander> it acts as if "isAlwasyAvtive" is set to true

<BenjaminK> because that's autoset to 0
<BenjaminK> meaning you probably won't get anything out of it
<Azander> IT's a carryover from the mod I was using as an example
<Azander> when the generator is on, I get efficiency of 1.00 according to the right-click popup
<Azander> on the popup is always says "Generator current power: 2.00000 MW" even if the generator is off.
<Azander> AmpYear seems to think that when the Generator is active it USES power instead of generates it
<BenjaminK> and if you try just copying a stock generator from 1.4, it still doesnt work?

<BenjaminK> yeah, take a look at the converters and see if there's any changes
<Azander> doyou know which stock part is a generator that isn't always on
<Azander> I see converters, and solar panels, but not 'generator'

<BenjaminK> actually, I'm not sure if I know of a 'generator' in KSP
<BenjaminK> maybe the RTG code?

<Azander> hmmm! created stock+battery install.. works there. it's a mod interaction
