<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ Am I right in thinking if I have a local clone of the principia repo, I could patch it to tell it that 1.12.5 is fine actually and build from source?
<queqiao-> I'm debating internally if this is worth the effort vs simply installing 1.12.4
<queqiao-> Obviously installing 1.12.4 is the vastly simpler solution for me, locally, right now - but I would be lying if there wasn't part of me that strongly wants to patch in 1.12.5 support as "the right thing"
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ Although I've noticed the repo is all on a single branch, master - so its not entirely clear which commit the last stable build was / which commit was used to generate the current binaries for 1.12,4
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ * 1.12.4
<queqiao-> ⟨egg⟩ You do not need to do that.
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ oh lovely
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ to be clear, am also happy to contribute - so if there was work to support a 1.12.5 release. Just this codebase is brand-new to me, hence the question
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ thank you though

<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ I am aware that the update only dropped 6 days ago, so there's no particular rush - it just happened to coincide with me wanting to start a new KSP career save.
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ ⟪egg⟫ There is an escape hatch. […] ⮪ Sorry, its unclear to me where I would add such a node? As far as I can tell there are no configuration files shipped with Principia. Is this a case of having to add a file (in what format?) to the top level GameData/Principia directory?
<queqiao-> ⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ It is a config node, which means it just needs to be loaded by the game. Any file with the extension ".cfg" in your "GameData" is fine.
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ Ah ok, thanks. So that's KSP specific rather than Principia specific.
<queqiao-> ⟨Carbsta⟩ +terminology
