egg changed the topic of #principia to: Logs: https://esper.irclog.whitequark.org/principia | <scott_manley> anyone that doubts the wisdom of retrograde bop needs to get the hell out | https://xkcd.com/323/ | <egg> calculating the influence of lamont on Pluto is a bit silly…

⟨overloader⟩ the burn time doesnt feel right for hydrolox
<queqiao->
⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ Did you rebase and click active engines again?
<queqiao->
⟨overloader⟩ i did
<queqiao->
⟨overloader⟩ right now im letting mechjeb execute the maneuver to see what happens, it definitely is burning way longer than stated in the flight plan window
<queqiao->
⟨blackeagle_612⟩ Is there something like a tutorial on rendesvouz and stuff in Principia? Or is it not different from stock physics that much?
_whitelogger has joined #principia
<queqiao->
⟨serinacan⟩ Theoretically it isn't much different. The plotter and how you plan intercepts however can take some getting used to
<queqiao->
⟨syriantacobell⟩ how would i launch to venus with principa?
<queqiao->
⟨_itsryan⟩ Have you done that without Principia before? It's pretty much the same, but you use the Principia flight planner instead of stock maneuver nodes. Use ECI for your maneuver reference frame for TVI. TWP still works and is a good place to start for your TVI burn parameters, then tweak it from there.
