<Darklight[m]> I'll see what happens and if I can download it
<Darklight[m]> Also you don't have to use winrar for zips, but one sec
<Darklight[m]> I managed to download it at 3mb/s and it extracted fine for me, I could rehost the file if you like but I don't think it's going to help you, it's not like TCP allows things to get corrupt 😛
<Darklight[m]> https://godarklight.info.tm/KerbalField-V2.4.1.zip does this link work?
<Darklight[m]> I live in australia and only have 20mbit up, but that is still only like 30 seconds
<Darklight[m]> Also I am kinda downloading something but I don't think I'm using all my down bandwidth and it won't affect your up anyway
<Darklight[m]> Tis my home server for DMP
<Darklight[m]> Matrix/IRC/Discord bridge ;)
<Darklight[m]> For me, spacedock was completely fine with full speeds

<HebaruSan[m]> Admins aren't allowed to download unpublished mods. Should they be?
<HebaruSan[m]> Might matter if we need to check that a problem has been fixed before unlocking
<HebaruSan[m]> What I'm imaginging is: Admin receives a report about a mod violating a license, uses DasSkelett's new "lock" function to handle it, which unpublishes it. User uploads a fixed version and requests unlock. Admin needs to check the upload to make sure it's OK.
<HebaruSan[m]> For what it's worth, I noticed this in the context of NetKAN receiving a pull request before publish, which isn't supposed to happen anyway 👍
<HebaruSan[m]> I'll add a fix to #270
<HebaruSan[m]> OK so the uploader can say "I fixed it" and we automatically unlock even if they didn't change anything? That seems to defeat the purpose of the lock feature in the first place.
<HebaruSan[m]> Why even have a report feature then
<HebaruSan[m]> Sure, the more social smoothness applied the better, but we're talking about how the locking feature/workflow works
<HebaruSan[m]> The admin currently CANNOT see what's in the download
<HebaruSan[m]> OK, then we're done here 🙂
<HebaruSan[m]> Another fun bit, if you leave the default "This is your mod listing!" description unedited, you evade the ranking penalty for a short description
<HebaruSan[m]> But if you delete it and add an actual description of the mod less than 100 characters, penalty applied
<HebaruSan[m]> Well, I see that as a minor component of two bigger problems (forcing people to edit the damn thing, and the ranking system being a bit of a joke), so I didn't want to emphasize it as if it should be the focus
<HebaruSan[m]> Oh hey, there actually is a place where the default description is checked, the publish hook won't let you proceed
