egg. — @sarbian so, re. the MFI 1.2.9–FAR–Principia three-way interaction, what should we do? It seems Principia wants to run between stock FI (which sets stock aerodynamics, evaluating at 0 in the presence of FAR) and FAR’s MFI step (which sets values for the stock aerodynamic properties that describe what FAR did).

egg. — In 1.2.7, Principia and MFI both run in TimingFI, at 9, and stock FI runs at 8. It so happens that Principia runs before MFI.
<discord->
egg. — From dkavolis’s experiment it sounds like running MFI at 9 directly also happens to have Principia before MFI (but note that it is likely that it will still alter its timing with respect to other mods, because it won’t run in the middle of the TimingFI things anymore), but should we be relying on that ?
<discord->
egg. — An alternative to get something clearly determined that makes it possible for things to run between stock FI and MFI would be to have MFI run at 10 (that way all of 9, and in particular TimingFI, would run between stock FI and MFI).

sarbian. — 10 works for me. We just need to document it properly.

sarbian. — Too bad there is no timing available between 8 and 9...

egg. — yeah, fractional timings would really help here
