!tell Gregrox* dimensions doesn't have any eastereggs, binary will change the name of the star and planets to spell out pi today (march 14th)
<Qboid>
Sigma88: I'll redirect this as soon as they are around.

GregroxMun: Sigma88 left a message for you in #Kopernicus [14.03.2017 10:26:34]: "dimensions doesn't have any eastereggs, binary will change the name of the star and planets to spell out pi today (march 14th)"
<GregroxMun>
Can I tell him who's really to blame?
<GregroxMun>
I'll just say "@Sigma88"
<GregroxMun>
well nevermind.
<Sigma88>
you can if you want
<Sigma88>
I'm too lazy
<GregroxMun>
aight then
<Sigma88>
hahaha
<Sigma88>
whooops
<Sigma88>
I posted just after you and it went to a new page
<GregroxMun>
Sigma88, what's the distance between StockSun and the Prok-Kseema system in GN?
<Sigma88>
5e12 iirc
<Sigma88>
why?
<GregroxMun>
What's the furthest star's distance?
<Sigma88>
I had calculated that in the GN thread
<GregroxMun>
I'm trying to decide how far away I should put SLIPPIST-1.
<Sigma88>
you should be able to find it in one of the latest pages
<Sigma88>
let me know if I have to look it up for you
<GregroxMun>
Is GN working in 1.2.2?
<GregroxMun>
"3.39*10^13" is the most distant star.
<Sigma88>
should work
<Sigma88>
can't remember if that's the distance between the two most distant stars
<Sigma88>
or the distance between stocksun and the most distant star
<Sigma88>
but I should have specified in the post
<GregroxMun>
"so, depending if you want an antenna that can cover everything from kerbin (which is in the center) or an antenna that can connect the two most distant stars, you will need to have a range of either ~3.5e13 meters or ~7e13 meters"
<teabot>
Anteanna.
<Sigma88>
ok, so the two most distant stars are 7e13 apart
<GregroxMun>
Prok-Kseema is 293 AU away from Kerbin, only 40.74 light hours. You could have reasonable e-mail between the two systems. (Scaling down lightspeed to match the planet scale, that's 407 light hours or 17-ish days, so e-mail would act like snail mail)
<GregroxMun>
wait no
<GregroxMun>
I mixed up browser tabs :P
<GregroxMun>
That's the number for what I got for SLIPPIST-1.
<GregroxMun>
Prok-Kseema is 4.38 light hours away. You could send a message and get it back in two Kerbin days.
<GregroxMun>
31.6 AU
