I'm fine with some deviations. Just Ultimate Doom + Doom II + Final Doom gets you 132 levels. OTOT, what I've played of freedoom doesn't feel very doomlike at all.

iunno, "How many red blocks?" on a plate of various shapes and colours with accurate answers, that do not count up, to any asker (not just researchers involved), is a pretty impressive understanding of language. Find a birb that can vocalise and they can do quite a lot
