egg changed the topic of #principia to: Logs: https://esper.irclog.whitequark.org/principia | <scott_manley> anyone that doubts the wisdom of retrograde bop needs to get the hell out | https://xkcd.com/323/ | <egg> calculating the influence of lamont on Pluto is a bit silly…

⟨NathanKell (he/him)⟩ Hey lpg you'll be happy to know that once lamont merges my latest PR you'll have your ability to execute stock maneuvers back in Principia.
<queqiao->
...I also fixed my bug that was preventing autowarping when executing Principia nodes (Squirrel mentioned it wasn't warping, I found my howler and fixed it).
<queqiao->
⟨lamont⟩ i merged that didn't i?
<queqiao->
⟨lamont⟩ ah got it
<queqiao->
⟨NathanKell (he/him)⟩ Yeah, there's Always Already Another PR. 😂

⟨JustLyra⟩ came up with this cool trajectory to get back home from landing on the mun. Burn from the surface until your trajectory resembles the free-return trajectory and it's basically the same thing. I was on the "left" side of the mun if you were viewing it from kerbin, so I burned 270 degrees on the surface, then inserted myself into this trajectory. Just added tangent velocity and fiddled with the location of the burn until I got this...
<queqiao->
... nice aerobrake pass
<queqiao->
This probably isn't that efficient, is there a more efficient way to return home from a mun landing?
<queqiao->
⟨JustLyra⟩ After further testing I find landing on that side of the Mun is easiest because you do just insert yourself right into this trajectory for very little dV

⟨siimav⟩ Why is Principia UI even enabled in the space center scene?

⟨rnlahaye⟩ Time moves forward. You might want to collect a journal or something.
