You dine on some calamari. Even weeks later, you find mun dust in places where it shouldn't be.
<Eddi|zuHause>
mun calamari?
<XXCoder>
seems so?
<XXCoder>
you might need to bathe more often ;)

it's not really helping :p
<Eddi|zuHause>

You scram your hard drive. The only reason you succeed is because you break into Wernher's office and edit KSC's only dictionary for the definition of "success."
<Deddly>
That's the key to any kind of success.

i have like 3000 hours in ksp and i still dont understand how i get to automatically target manouver node
<NGC3982>
is it an experience thing for the pilot kerbal in question?
<darsie>
NGC3982: You may need to align planes. And ofc intersecting orbits.
<darsie>
hmm, target maneuver nodes ...
<NGC3982>
the blue thing
<NGC3982>
that shows me where to burn to complete the manouver
<darsie>
Lock towards target, away from target, and towards maneuver
<NGC3982>
ah perfect
<NGC3982>
thank you
<darsie>
yw
<NGC3982>
i should have explored harder difficulty earlier
<NGC3982>
i think that was the reason for me getting tired with the game initially
<darsie>
At one point I put all kerbals in a big rocket and made them all 5*.
<NGC3982>
now i recently had this 7-contract mission where i fixed a minmus satellite, a rover, picked up two passengers, got science, released unmanned probe and so on and it went fantastic during the +3 hours i worked with it, just to explode on impact back on kerbin because i ran out of fuel right over a mountain and couldnt land properly
<NGC3982>
still fun as heck
<NGC3982>
also, it feels extra good to play KSP1 right now in the shadow of all the KSP2 debacle
<darsie>
I had new KSP2 woes yesterday. Landed 10 Kerbals on Eve, launched and at first staging the control direction flipped ...
<NGC3982>
oh
<NGC3982>
bummer
<darsie>
Tried direction hold, but the secord stage flipped anyways, maybe aerodynamics. Also the first stage collided with the second stage, so drag may have been very high.
<Eddi|zuHause>
i get frustrated at hard difficulty quickly...
<darsie>
I've only played normal.
