Raidernick Ok so I have a build of RF for KSP 1.4.5 and I've tested it and I'm satisfied with it but the repositories for both RF and SolverEngines have version files for KSP 1.5.1 already but no 1.5.1 release for RF so I can still do that and it shouldn't be a problem for CKAN... I think. SolverEngines has a 1.5.1 release but it gets packaged with RF. So there shouldn't be an issue if I push that RF release for 1.4.5 - except for that 1% uncertainty
<Starwaster>
about CKAN. What do you want me to do?

Starwaster, i don't really know much about ckan just need to make sure a version for 1.4.5 is properly indexed
<Raidernick>
beyond that i don't know
<Starwaster>
does it matter if what is on the repository differs from what is in the download archive?
<Starwaster>
actually you know what? it can't matter...
<Starwaster>
actually it could.... dammit I wish I knew more about ckan myself
<Sarbian>
There is a checksum and it does matter

sarbian elucidate please?
<Sarbian>
The CKAN database has a checksum for all mods version so if " if what is on the repository differs from what is in the download archive" then it will not install
<Sarbian>
Assuming I understood what you where talking about
<Starwaster>
well FML
<Starwaster>
sarbian no we must be talking about different things because lots of mods routinely distribute things in the archive files that don't exist on the repository at all
