@Sarbian , could you take a look at a clip of a MechJeb landing attempt, and help out if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's a bug I should report on git?
<Sarbian>
dlrkdesktop: post it in the thread and I ll have a look when I have the time
<Sarbian>
taniwha: you are right to tell people to install mods to see more loading screen. They should install MM at least and they ll see a lot more of them fast

Does the MJ land at target function only work from orbit?
<lamont>
dlrkdesktop: no, it works fine suborbitally, although you can’t feed it any nonsense and expect it to work
<lamont>
it works better if the suborbital trajectory is already somewhat near the landing site
<lamont>
and the state machine has edge conditions that sometimes get confused if you engage it too early while you’re rising (particularly if you engage it below 500m while you’re going up then it will switch directly to the code that runs when you’re below 500m on the way down, which is not remotely what you want)

Few people have been asking about modders notes, etc. They are in progress... but quite a substantial effort. If anyone has questions. you can ask here and we'll try to get back to you in a reasonable timeframe. Or you can post your questions on the forum and mention a dev.. otherwise we probably won't find it for some time.
