⟨Jexa Jexins⟩ Anyone got a guide on how to get an encounter with another planet such as venus?
<queqiao->
⟨Marsh⟩ Use TWP to get the necessary orbit for transfer. You need a launch inclination, LAN, and delta v. If all goes well you should be pretty close to the TWP numbers and only need to make small changes.

⟨Jexa Jexins⟩ TWP inbuilt with RP-1 express?

⟨Jexa Jexins⟩ okay new question ive put in the details and this looks closer but cant get anything to look the same as it did for the moon, are my refrences wrong? and if so which one/s

⟨Marsh⟩ Both reference frames are wrong. Your plotting frame should be for where you’re going (Venus), VCI or VSO, and your maneuvering frame should be where you are, earth orbit (ECI)

⟨Itspats (solid lv enthusiast)⟩ Is it better to do transfers (ex: venus) in vci or vso?
<queqiao->
⟨Marsh⟩ Initially either works. It's normal in principia to swap between different frames. If the numbers are good you can probably go straight into VCI. What you end with depends on your goal. If you're doing an orbit or flyby you want the final adjustments to be for VCI unless you want an orbit relative to the ground in which you'd want VCVF
