<Virindi> in software in general you will often come across something which seems to be completely wrong, but it turns out it was done a long time ago under different circumstances when it was correct

<Virindi> mechjeb can't do: gravity assists, spaceplane ascent, spaceplane descent (very well), principia, precision aerobraking...
<Virindi> heck it can't even do docking very well, it burns like 20x as much fuel as manual docking

<xShadowx|2> Virindi: i used MJ for docking plenty, key is to know how to configure it, so you dont bun 20x fuel
<xShadowx|2> if i even use MJ to dock, its limiting speed to about 1m/s and lowering as i get closer, not even turning it on until i already get close
<xShadowx|2> more fuel/speed just rushes what happens, dont rush, take time, do it efficiently
