<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ Hey guys, hoping I can ask a quick tech support question here. I just got me a fresh install of RP-1 for 1.12.3 and Principia. Principia is causing my vessels to fall apart a few seconds after liftoff. Error logs reference "difficult diagonalization." Uninstalling Principia fixes this. Just thought I might start here before a bug report. Feels like I might just have goofed it up somehow.
<queqiao-> ⟨Transparent_Elemental⟩ something-something singular matrix or the algorithm couldn't diagonalize it for some reason, though from just this message alone there's no clue on what would make that so you better post the log here
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ Here is the log from the last flight I attempted, total gobbledeygook to my eyes!
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ I can also do another run with journaling turned on and give that too if necessary, shoulda had that on in the first place I guess
<queqiao-> ⟨Transparent_Elemental⟩ is that the entire thing?
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ That's the text it generated after my very short flight, yes
<queqiao-> ⟨Transparent_Elemental⟩ it's expected that you provide like the entire log from when you launched the game to your craft being messed up
<queqiao-> ⟨Al2Me6⟩ _i.e._, you should also send your KSP.log
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ I apologize, never had to deal with something like this before, I will grab that log
<queqiao-> ⟨Transparent_Elemental⟩ I must say it's pretty cool to see principia logs mentioning symmetric bilinear forms and diagonalization 🤔
<queqiao-> ⟨Al2Me6⟩ I must say it disturbs me, seeing that I suffered diagonalization-related crashes quite a number of times before pleroy fixed the algorithm.
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ Oof, guess I need Nitro to post a file as big as my KSP.log
<queqiao-> ⟨Al2Me6⟩ Zip it
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ Thanks for looking at this guys, was really unsure what to do considering this is as clean as a fresh install gets
<queqiao-> ⟨Al2Me6⟩ I don't see anything immediately wrong with your install. Not sure we can do much else for you, but I suspect the devs might find your case interesting when they're around.
<queqiao-> ⟨Astralczar⟩ Sounds good, I'll go ahead and open a ticket on github and just putter around in regular KSP physics for a while. Thanks again 👍
