<sichelgaita> [your KSP save] makes no sense, it's not a save. Also, the spelling of GameData is wrong. Finally, I am not sure how useful this is, are there really many people trying to uninstall Principia and not finding a way to do it? (Arguably the FAQs already contain stuff of dubious usefulness, but we should maybe not add more.)

<Clayel> woops, those misspellings are on me. [your KSP instance] would work, right?principia is installed differently, so i could imagine a situation where people could get confused on how to install it, especially since they may be unsure about removing glog (which can be over a GB in size!)

<njd80> the mod Precise Maneuver can do this, but unsure if it works with Principia
<queqiao-->
<Kaborl> The stock maneuvers and all the tools around them aren't compatible with Principia.

<Milan97> What planet packs does principia compatible with? Or only stock?
<raptop>
real-world ones (so RSS and related things). Also that TRAPPIST-1 one if it's still being updated.
<raptop>
Any pack that puts some effort into checking on orbit stability can be compatabile, though I'd expect that most don't have configs for extended body / nonspherical gravity
<queqiao-->
<Milan97> Sad 🙁
<queqiao-->
<Milan97> Is there a way to manually create configs?
<queqiao-->
<Milan97> I have quack pack, mpd, opm, kcalbeloh, kss2, and infinite discoveries
<raptop>
Yes, though I'm not familiar with the process. You will almost certainly want to test out the systems with an outside n-body integrator (eg: MERCURY6 or REBOUND) to make sure you don't get an apocalypse in the near term. IIRC, Principia also plays poorly with the distances involved with eg: kcalbeloh though

<Qazerowl> Principia will "work" with any pack as long as the planets don't crash into each other once principia takes over their orbits. In the stock system, that happens with some of Jool's moons so principia has a patch that moves them a bit so it doesn't happen. It wouldn't be too hard to do that with other packs. Just start a new save with principia and start timewarping. If you make it to several hundred or a thousand years
<queqiao-->
without a popup saying that planets crashed into each other, you're good. If they do crash, you'll need to figure out how to spread them out (or something more complicated) to avoid that, and then re-test with a new save.
