egg changed the topic of #principia to: Logs: https://esper.irclog.whitequark.org/principia | <scott_manley> anyone that doubts the wisdom of retrograde bop needs to get the hell out | https://xkcd.com/323/ | <egg> calculating the influence of lamont on Pluto is a bit silly…

⟨dannyb3001⟩ would principia be compatible with Bon Voyage? I'm not sure exactly how the mod works but it says that it can drive rovers in the background so you don't need to manually do it for hours.
<queqiao->
⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ That's fine; Principia doesn't deal with landed things.
<queqiao->
⟨dannyb3001⟩ I'm just worried it conflicts with the "any mod that tries to move a vehicle without using engines" issue

⟨egg⟩ The issue is mainly that whereas the stock noodles are a single ellipse, the Principia noodles on a reasonably unperturbed orbit are drawn over themselves many times, and whatever blooming logic is applied causes that to bloom as if it were ridiculously bright.
<queqiao->
⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ Huh, perhaps a different shader might help?
<queqiao->
⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ ...ah yeah you're using "Particles/Additive". I imagine "Unlit/Color" might be more appropriate?
<queqiao->
⟨Al₂Me₆⟩ (At the cost that overlapping noodles will not appear 'brighter' than non-overlapping noodles.)
<queqiao->
⟨egg⟩ This is clear here, where the history is reasonable, though quite bright where the spacecraft stayed roughly in the same orbit for a while, but where the galilean moons seem well on their way to turning into stars.

I don't think monoliths are supposed to work like that
