probably you should to look at the text globally, and see if something is font- or case-ambiguous, saying [a] for any of 𝑎 𝑨 𝔄 etc. if it is not, and adding disambiguation as needed

and ideally you would want to factor out the disambiguators on things that form a semantic unit, reading 𝔰𝔬 as either [ɛs o] or Fraktur [ɛs o], but not Fraktur [ɛs] Fraktur [o], but that is probably not feasible since it is hard to tell whether something is a multiplication or a multiletter symbol

SO is an interesting example, because 𝔰𝔬 and SO are both perfectly standard notation, read [ɛs o] when it is clear whether you are talking about the algebra or the group

There's a mostly unrelated point to be made about how lots of accessability features do not automatically provide a curbcut effect, so abled people will either make a judgement call on using them (buses, elevators), or have a purely negative experience until they know how to avoid it (sticky keys)
