i do kind of wish they'd do some more hubble/jwst comparisons so people can better appreciate just how huge this is. Sure the pictures look great, but without that comparison it's difficult to appreciate unless you look at stuff like this a lot

that's a big part too, but whta they're saying right now is they ARE getting much more detail; part of that is being able to do it faster (less "blur"), but also is higher sensitivity, meaning things that would otherwise get washed out are now detectable
