For some reason when I first built a small plane in KSP it landed and handled beautifully, but now when I try to make the most simple plane possible to get to the island runway or the nearby mountains for some science, anything I build handles like absolute mystery goo, especially under 100m/s.

funkenstein: not if it's attached / docked. Sending it to the lab is a button like keep or transmit, unlike transmit it requires a physical connection to the lab, but you don't need to go and manually grab it. Just review the experiment result and click the flask button

by facing the opposite direction of movement when you land from a jump, the slow-down force is applied in the wrong direction, accelerating you instead of slowing you back down to the speed limit lol
