⟨JosephIsHere⟩ Do you guys have any tips for landing on Phobos? I have tried 4 times and they all failed
<queqiao->
⟨JosephIsHere⟩ They all failed to get into an orbit
<queqiao->
⟨lpg⟩ don't try getting into an orbit
<queqiao->
⟨JosephIsHere⟩ What do I do? Do I try to get a direct landing?
<queqiao->
⟨JosephIsHere⟩ I’ll try that
<queqiao->
⟨JosephIsHere⟩ Also, is it ok if I’m in a retrograde Mars orbit?
<bees>
land on a far side of Phobos, i guess?
<UmbralRaptop>
Try more of a docking than a landing? Also, uh, doesn't Phobos orbit progress?
<queqiao->
⟨Zeusbeer⟩ You can use a grappling hook but I'm not sure if that exists in RP1, pretty sure KAS has one though
<queqiao->
⟨Zeusbeer⟩ It's quite consistent for landing on low gravity surfaces

⟨Spaceman Spiff⟩ Uhhhh probably not as you’ll be going in the opposite direction relative to Phobos
<queqiao->
⟨JosephIsHere⟩ Oh no. I’ll just re try the mission in a couple hundred days

⟨lpg⟩ Not sure if bug or feature: normally, when one turns on Hack Gravity, any outstanding flight plan is discarded. But if one quickloads into a vessel with a flight plan while Hack Gravity is enabled, the flight plan is "preserved", insofar as its navball indicator is shown. (but the flight plan window can't be opened)

⟨egg⟩ I think « the escape web behaves in mysterious ways » is in the « neither bug nor feature » area
<queqiao->
⟨Maxim_⟩ Can I still add Principia to my already running save?
<queqiao->
⟨Maxim_⟩ I am still early in my career and haven't put anything into orbit yet.
<raptop>
Yes, but it's recommended to avoid having things in-flight and definitely not on interplanetary transfers
<queqiao->
⟨Stonesmile⟩ As raptop said; the planets will be in different places, so vessels heading towards a planet will be heading to nothing
<queqiao->
⟨Maxim_⟩ Yeah that's no problem, I restarted so there isn't anything in orbit yet
<queqiao->
⟨Stonesmile⟩ Other than that, it's fine to add Principia
<queqiao->
⟨Maxim_⟩ Okay, thanks!
