<queqiao-_> ⟨KrazyKerbal⟩ I'm going interplanetary for the first time, and wondering: does Principia have a significant effect on transfer windows? If so is there a way to take that into account when planning, or do mods like Transfer Window Planner still work at least for departure time?
<queqiao-_> ⟨Damien⟩ it's close enough to be reliable
<queqiao-_> ⟨Damien⟩ for the window that is
<queqiao-_> ⟨Damien⟩ don't trust its maneuver suggestion
<queqiao-_> ⟨KrazyKerbal⟩ Cool, thanks. I was definitely going to set the manoeuvres manually

<queqiao-_> ⟨Kobymaru⟩ actually when using the pinned version of TWP, trusting the maneuver suggestion has gotten me much closer to an encounter than anything I could come up with manually
<queqiao-_> ⟨Kobymaru⟩ If I set the orbit altitude, and the ejection inclination, I can read the LAN from TWP and type that into MJ. Then in orbit, I read the prograde dV from TWP and type that into principia.
<queqiao-_> ⟨Kobymaru⟩ All that's needed is to adjust the timing of the maneuver, but this usually gets me really really close to where I want to go

<queqiao-_> ⟨Denwey⟩ So, how do you guys handle orbit maintenance? kos?
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ for most "normal* orbits ?
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ find stable orbits and park you stuff there
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ everything else kos cant do anything anyway
<queqiao-_> ⟨Denwey⟩ More along the lines of lagrange
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ L4/5 are stable, the other ones you will have to set timers and keep them on course
<queqiao-_> ⟨Denwey⟩ ouch
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ L4/5 are stable, the other ones you will have to set timers and correct your course (edited)
<queqiao-_> ⟨pEdro⟩ for earth/sun they are stable for a month i think

<queqiao-_> ⟨Butcher⟩ L2 is a chore.
<queqiao-_> ⟨Stonesmile⟩ EML2 is stable for about 1 month
<queqiao-_> ⟨Butcher⟩ I managed ~1200 days stable at EML4.
