<LunchBot> You successfully dock with no RCS! You reduced the crew to a soup-like homogenate.
<Althego> hehe the third impact
<darsie> I typically have RCS on fuel stations even though they're heavier than the ships to refuel and it's thus more wasteful, but it saves the mass of RCS on the spacecraft.

<darsie> Sometimes I see videos of spacecraft with RCS instead of RWs. I guess that's for realism.
<Althego> isnt rcs some android thing?
<packbart> so the mountain does come to Jeb
<darsie> Well, I use RCS to dock on asteroids or so. But not for attitude control.
<packbart> darsie: on some builds it works better than RWs and doesn't induce as much wobble
<packbart> and yeah, it looks cooler
<darsie> yeah :)
<packbart> for large nonsense, I used tugs that would pull the tanker to the fuel station. seeing 4 MechJeb-controlled probes fly out to a ship and dock with its ports was nice :)

<LunchBot> You install Chatterer and decode the SSTV signals in the files. You send a distress signal throughout the universe: one last piece of music, from a dying planet of space frogs. The first part of the song tells your history. The second part asks for help. But even if rescue never comes, the third part will be triumph, because this last song will play forever.
