<ScholarRaptor>
Well this is just silly ... My bios was just updated and my surge protector is good, but my desktop simply likes to loop a couple of times after being shut off for a few minutes
<ScholarRaptor>
But, other than that, it will run for hours without issue and I've never had it BSoD or show any symptoms of overheating or RAM issues.
<ScholarRaptor>
What. The. Heck?
<ScholarRaptor>
I've operated desktops since the paleolithic era and this confounds me!

<raptop>
hrm
<ScholarRaptor>
Speaking of GPU-melting titles, I'm now torn between Spess Muhreen Deux and Stellaris: Paradox Needs More Money DLC
<raptop>
I would have assumed that Stellaris would be more CPU melting
<ScholarRaptor>
We have mods for that!
<ScholarRaptor>
(Though none of them probably work right now since the new DLC dropped today)
<raptop>
Recent games for me include, er, Juno: New Origins, Ultimate Admiral:Dreadnauts, and Cultist Simulator
<ScholarRaptor>
How is Dreadnaughts, anyway?
<ScholarRaptor>
I kinda like the idea of making, uh, Dreadnoughts.
<raptop>
I mean, it's reasonably fun building and commanding the ships, though the campaign can be hit or miss.
<raptop>
Not sure how I feel about multiplayer being added
<ScholarRaptor>
It's kind of funny making a campaign for the game given the very limited number of times actual Dreadnaughts engaged eachother in combat!
<ScholarRaptor>
I have an alternative! Ultimate Admiral: Cruisers
<ScholarRaptor>
Alternatively, one could have Ultimate Space Marine: Dreadnought.
<raptop>
That could be good, actually
<raptop>
Though speaking of silliness with combat with relatively few ships at a time, Cold Waters
<raptop>
There's something hilarious about finding an old CL that the soviets want to move in to provide artillery support for an invasion, and your crew labels it as a "Capitol Ship"
<raptop>
Really a lot of the time it's your sub against various destroyers, frigates, and other subs. With the transport, or cruiser, or helicopter carrier thrown in
<raptop>
*Capital ship
<ScholarRaptor>
Not to be confused with Capitol Ship, which is an amphibious legislative building.

Is there any plan for a KSP-esque campaign for Juno?
Tank2333 has quit [Remote host closed the connection]

Juno does have a campaign, though it does some stuff differently
<raptop>
eg: science isn't a gathered resource
<ScholarRaptor>
Wait ... Aren't Science Points the reason we send probes to distant worlds in real life? How else do we advance R&D?
<raptop>
hag
<raptop>
*hah
<packbart>
we wouldn't have to send them that far if we'd have more science labs in orbit, like the ISS
<ScholarRaptor>
@packbart Perhaps NASA et al should send probes back to the ISS for processing so they don't need to keep sending probes?
