infinitepermutations. — Others will correct me if wrong, but my understanding is the kos script from @itsRyan calculates the LAN and launch time for when your launch plane will intersect the moon's position 3 days in 3 days if you launch directly East. It then warps to that time. This is possible twice every day from ksc.
<discord->
infinitepermutations. — The script from @Butcher calculates the moons position in 3 days and tells you the degrees to launch to at that point in time.

infinitepermutations. — Both work for me though I ussually use itsRyans script just so I know how much delta v I need for a Easterly launch

Butcher. — You don't need to be in the moon's plane to fly to the moon.

Ashnoom. — Given enough time you can be in any inclination + LAN to fly to the moon essentially
<discord->
Butcher. — Lan matters much more than matched inclination, hence my script being able to launch any time.

bongotastic. — Thanks @Butcher. I used to launch into LAN using MechJeb, which is the same as launch into plane in terms of window (and clearly not into the plane as it is not possible from KSC). I'll use you script to help me grok the difference between the MechJeb Launch into the Moon's LAN and your solution.

bongotastic. — I'm using a SRB as TLI kick, I set the burn time to 16s. When I plan the timing of the burn, I set it as "instant burn". In practice, should I ignite at T+0s or T-8s relative to Principia's flight plan? Using the procedural SRB, so I *could* reduce the burn time maybe a bit without crushing the payload.
<discord->
lpg. — t-8 is a decent approximation
<discord->
bongotastic. — Thanks. Lobbing an uncontrolled mass with a SRB is sketchy. Worked twice in simulation, easily. Guess how well it has in _not_ simulation?

lpg. — time of start of burn is _actually_ time of start of burn
<discord->
Damien. — principia models the actual duration of the burn when planning. KSP assumes instant impulse, which is why you do the 50/50 trick to average it out
