damn, Real ISRU is going to take a lot of work to clean up. Everywhere I look I see conversion recipes where the masses don't add up on both sides when it matters

Starwaster: maybe someone used ratios from stoichiometry and failed to account for molecular masses?

that would be the reason to vent, also getting 100% efficiency is harder so sometimes you extrac a useful percentage and dump the waste
