the moon looks fine but the craft is clearly renderred, it even has light angles to the curves on the edges
<Mat2ch>
it is Unity... so...
<Mat2ch>
they lost signal a minute ago and switched to that view
<Mat2ch>
sadly they don't show anywhere that this is not the real picture and some flat earthers will now take this as example how NASA is lying to them

looks like 3. that's no standard KSP configuration :)

it's four

hm. it looks a bit different in the animation. what I saw in the video had two angled nozzles pointing back and one angled forward
<funkenstein>
I thought you meant the animation
<packbart>
nah, I mean the RCS to the left and below the solar panel
<funkenstein>
definitely 2 up, I can't see the one going down bu eh I'm blind
<packbart>
why don't they even have relay coverage all around the Moon? Noobs...

landing is easy ;) is the return mission planned for the same year?

is there a way to scale up a ModuleResourceConverter throughput without changing all the Ratio options? I vaguely remember something like "rate". or was that harvesters?
<packbart>
nah, I meant in part configuration. the hydrogen compressors don't convert enough hydrogen and I don't want to add more parts

I just made a patch with @Ratio *= 3 for both input and output resources. works for me. I thought there was a rate scale option in the module, too

Hello! Sorry, you are the creator of the minecars addon for Minecraft Bedrock
<Pinkbeast>
I am?

Excuse me 😅 I'm trying to contact the creator

Right. This is a channel for Kerbal Space Program, which contains few if any minecarts.

nb if you design something like the seamonster put the cockpit on the front so that the IVA view isn't quite so LOUD
<funkenstein>
I'm in orbit of minmus and for some reason can't get back to kerbin to save jeb's life
<SporkWitch>
what's wrong?
<funkenstein>
best i can do is a 34MM orbit of kerbin
<funkenstein>
my inclination appears to be the bugger
<SporkWitch>
inclination shouldn't matter too much for returning from the mun or minmus
<SporkWitch>
what you may need to do is wait until your inclination aligns with minmus' orbit so your ejection can be more retrograde
<funkenstein>
i went prograde
Ezriilc has joined #KSPOfficial
<SporkWitch>
you want your ejection to be retrograde to the moon's orbit around kerbin, that will giver you the lowest periapsis and shortest trip home
<SporkWitch>
so what you might need to do if you're in a heavily inclined orbit is timewarp until the moon is at a point in its orbit where your orbit is perpendicular to the moon's, so that you can get that retrograde ejection. should only need a couple hundred m/s
<funkenstein>
I just turned around mid-orbit
<funkenstein>
it worked
<FLHerne>
that MineCars addon is written by "RandomKerbal", so I suppose it's possible that's someone here

funkenstein: If you warp Minmus to the point where it's orbital line is in your plane of your orbit around Minmus, then at the points in your orbit 90 deg away from Minmus orbit you go prograde/retrograde relative to Minmus orbit around Kerbin and can make a maneuver ahead of these points to eject retrograde (or prograde) with maximum efficiency to shrink/grow your orbit. https://0x0.st/olIN.png
