21:56 <discord-_> e​gg. — That is likely good advice (and holds wrt RP-1 especially; learning Principia in a career is a popular choice but a terrible one, technological and cost restrictions leave no margin for error and you will make errors aplenty while you learn)

21:58 <discord-_> e​gg. — If you have no experience in KSP at all then I might suggest starting with Principia though, since a lot of the difficulty seems to be from unlearning what you had learned with stock’s way of presenting orbital mechanics. Then again people who start looking at RO and Principia generally have some KSP under their belt to start with so this is likely a rare combination.
