<GregroxMun> Hey that's not bad.
<GregroxMun> Color contrast should be higher I would think.

<Sigma88> I thought you wouldn't have liked the yellow since you don't want yellow stars
<GregroxMun> As long as its on the thermal color spectrum it's fine.
<Sigma88> yeah, yellow is not there
<Sigma88> there's only one yellow pixel
<Sigma88> and it's like 255,255,254
<Sigma88> so "yellow" might be a stretch

<Sigma88> thomas I have an issue with some big ass stars
<Sigma88> they disappear when I zoom out
<Sigma88> even if they are much bigger than 1 pixel
<Sigma88> is there some parameter I can change to keep them visible?
<Sigma88> I assumed it was related to #89 but I can't get it to work
<Qboid> [#89] title: View distance for new bodies | @Raidernick reports that distant bodies in RSS aren't visible, even though bodies at longer distances in stock KSP are.... | https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/issues/89
<Sigma88> ok, I tried scaledSpaceFaderMult but it doesn't seem to affect stars
<Sigma88> it affects gas giants and PQS planets
<Sigma88> but doesn't affect stars, regardless if they have PQS or not
<Sigma88> ah derp, they have fadestart and end = 0
<Sigma88> >_>
<GregroxMun> List of Known Space locations that can be made in KSP.
<GregroxMun> (Taken from the wikipedia article on the subject)
<GregroxMun> I figure one or all of these could be good planets to have in Ultimate Solar System.
<teabot> Ulteamate.
<GregroxMun> I love you, teabot. You never fail to give me tea when I really need tea.
<Sigma88> Wiki has an article about known space locations that can be made in ksp?
<Sigma88> :)
<Sigma88> the forum is becoming very annoying
<Thomas> you notice that now? ;P
<Sigma88> it asks me to log in every 5 minutes
<Sigma88> and I'm still looking for a solution for the scaledspace issue
<Thomas> check your browsers cookies settings?
<Sigma88> so any kind of suggestion is welcome
<Thomas> And sorry, I have no idea why it does that
<Sigma88> it has nothing to do with browser
<Sigma88> I think the forum can only handle 1 long term connection at a time
<Thomas> Did you check "keep me logged in"?
<Thomas> I do that and it works for me
<Sigma88> if you log in from multiple devices (or multiple browsers) you lose the connection with the others
<Sigma88> and yes I do check "remember me"
<Sigma88> do you log in from multiple devices?
<Thomas> I am logged in from my phone and my pc
<Thomas> On both I checked "remember me"
<Sigma88> no idea then
<Sigma88> I've tried a ton of stuff, and I always get disconnected
<Sigma88> chrome, firefox, edge,
<Sigma88> even the "internet" app from samsung
<Thomas> Samsung D:
<Sigma88> ?
<Thomas> landedDataValue = 374495378249826572647863862786578678973486790275986574865787897598763745876374 hahaha
<Sigma88> hey
<Thomas> Nah, I just dont like samsung :D
<Sigma88> don't mock ppl just because they want to be very accurate with their numbers
<Sigma88> :D
<GregroxMun> that is a big number.
<GregroxMun> What's that from?
<Sigma88> a bug report on the forums
<Thomas> Thats like transporting an entire IKEA kitchen on a bicycle
<Sigma88> wut?
<Thomas> Well, trying to load this number into a 32-bit integer
<Thomas> thats like putting a lot of stuff on a bicycle :P
<Sigma88> :)
<Sigma88> double have a limited number of significant digits anyways
<Sigma88> iirc
<Sigma88> something like 15
<Thomas> Well, yeah, but thats no even a floating point number

<Sigma88> I can't honestly see why that pressure curve would not be loaded correctly
<Sigma88> it looks fine to me

<Kopernicus> [Kopernicus] StollD commented on issue #187: I don't think that you missed any buildsteps, but you've done some things different. For example I don't compile against the .NET / mono dlls shipped with KSP but the ones from mono itself (_mono-reference-assemblies-3.5_ I think). And my compiler version is fairly outdated. (but I am too lazy to update it)... https://git.io/vQkiq

<GregroxMun> The color scheme is just the heightmap recolored. I intend to replace it with a height color map
Thomas is now known as Thomas|AWAY
<Sigma88> it's very cool
<Sigma88> looks kind of cartoony
<GregroxMun> That's the Stockalike.
<Sigma88> I like that style
<GregroxMun> Actually tbh it has more in common with Galileo style.
<GregroxMun> Not really stockalike, and very little PQSmods aside from Heightmap.

<GregroxMun> Final version of the planet.
<GregroxMun> So here's a problem. Galileo left the project. We no longer have enough people to do Ultimate Solar System.
<Sigma88> did he tell you?
<GregroxMun> yes
<Sigma88> ah yes
<Sigma88> I hadn't read
<Sigma88> I don't think that this is the kind of project that can be done in a few months
<GregroxMun> Sure it is.
<GregroxMun> If there's enough people.
<Sigma88> sure
<GregroxMun> If we had 26 people it would be done in just over a week
<GregroxMun> *36 people
<Sigma88> if you use the mod that generates random crappy planets you are done in 2 days
<Sigma88> :)
<GregroxMun> Well how about this:
<GregroxMun> Terraform some of the stock planets, add them.
<GregroxMun> Add Alternis Kerbin, Alternis Laythe.
<Sigma88> I had an idea for mine
<GregroxMun> Go ahead
<Sigma88> like lava laythe
<Sigma88> but with different terrain
<Sigma88> some bumpy terrain with huge cracks
<GregroxMun> Ooh yeah!
<GregroxMun> You could have that as an inner gas giant moon.
<Sigma88> yup
<Sigma88> I'm at a good point with gn
<Sigma88> I need to fix luminosity of stars, which can wait untill later date tbh
<GregroxMun> KillAshley|SEMI what do you say about lending a planet or two? (Either ones that are already finished or, alternatively, new ones if you're up to the task)
<Sigma88> I thought you wanted only new plants
<Sigma88> nets*
<GregroxMun> I do
<GregroxMun> But we only have 4 people now and I want to be open to other possibilities
<Sigma88> that sounds like the title of the saddest orgy ever
<GregroxMun> LOL
<GregroxMun> That needs to go in the funny quotes.
<Sigma88> just ping Thomas|AWAY ^
<GregroxMun> I guess there is one possibility... Could ditch the gas giants and just make the Type I system with 24 worlds. 6 planets per person assuming 4 people.
<GregroxMun> But I like gas giants and it's quite a bit more varied to have them.
<Sigma88> also, assuming I'm going to do 6 planets
<Sigma88> might be a stretch
<GregroxMun> TWG said he could pick up any neccesary slack.
<Sigma88> star size comparison:
<Sigma88> the sun as a main sequence yellow dwarf
<Sigma88> no sorry
<Sigma88> the sun as a red giant
<Sigma88> and the sun as a main sequence yellow dwarf:
<GregroxMun> yep
<Sigma88> GregroxMun: I'm happy with the stockalike stars in GN
<Sigma88> if you want to take a look at the realistic stars let me know
<GregroxMun> later, probably
<Sigma88> everything should be already working fine
<Sigma88> huh
<Sigma88> blue stars of luminosity class II are small!
<GregroxMun> how small?
<Sigma88> 13.9 solar radii
<Sigma88> B2II
<Sigma88> and a B8II star has 5.6 solar radii
<GregroxMun> O1I, B2II, A3III, F4IV, G5V, K6VI, M7VII. One of these things is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really old.
<GregroxMun> VII is white dwarfs, if I'm not mistaken.
<Sigma88> yes
<GregroxMun> So one cold enough to have temperature corresponding to M7, it would be REALLY old.
<GregroxMun> I could have sworn white dwarfs are supposed to cool more slowly than that.
<GregroxMun> 11 Billion years is old, sure, but down to 3K K already?
<Sigma88> no idea
