<GregroxMun> Space Engine figures that Kerbol should be a G8V star assuming it has a procedurally defined radius and a mass of 100x stock (0.88) and a luminosity of 0.83. (Enough for Kerbin to get exactly as much light as Earth assuming 10x stock scale)
<GregroxMun> With 10x stock size and 100x stock mass, it would be M8IV and glow at 2838 Kelvin.

<GregroxMun> As far as I can tell the closest thing to a star 3.76 Rsol and 0.88 Msol at 2838 Kelvin would be a protostar.
