<ale260382> btw it's an electric engine it's not subjected to ullage, and it actually consumes fuel

<Red5> Thrust blocking is a bit of an all-or-nothing affair in KSP. If a part intersects the thrust transform (which is a line) the applied thrust goes instantly to zero for most engines.

<Red5> The line is of limited length, if you get the other stuff far enough away thrust goes back to full.
<Red5> You can see soem stock asteroid pullers that exploit this.

<Red5> And there are some engines that never get blocked, most RCS thrusters are like that. Same with the stock ion and reversible jets.
