I guess they scrubbed that since KSP is famous enough to not need a demo.
<kubi>
ksp2 is a big question to me
<kubi>
the real value is the plethora od addons and mods
<kubi>
it will take a while for ksp2...
<Althego>
let's combine demo and 2, we get demo 2
<Althego>
so it would be nice if there wasa ksp 2 playable demo on 27th of may :)
<kubi>
or today

*click* *click* installing mods I think are usefule but would never have bothered to install manually. "double tap brakes" (lock brakes with double-b) - I always felt that was missing
<Althego>
yes parking brakes is one long missing feature
<Mat2ch>
there are so many missing features ;P
<Mat2ch>
like, why can't we have the numbers from 1 to 0 to activate things and then Shift+1 to Shift+0 to deactivate it? (Fully configurable)
<packbart>
yeah, well, everyone has a different shouldhavebeenstock pet feature, I guess. that's what them mods are for
<Mat2ch>
all those toggle things are annoying

Instead of the fixed "action" dialog, they should've made it configurable in the advanced settings mode. Like "Create new action group", then set a keyboard shortcut, and then everything as usual
<Mat2ch>
hey Fluburtur
<Althego>
most of my needs in stock were already rectified, but parking brakes is one issue remaining
<Althego>
maybe with map view, where you should see things on the night side of the planet, because it is a map
<packbart>
isn't that fixed by the "Ambient Light Boost: Map" setting?
<Althego>
is there such thing?
<Althego>
where
<Mat2ch>
well, the next time I fire up KSP it hopefully comes in v2 and has Linux support :P
<Mat2ch>
everything else is still too much hazzle, too stuttery, too lagy.

ah, well. I still like to play on the laptop, even without AA and rather low framerate
<packbart>
I'm not done taxing the new box. Visual packs and post-processing for more glorious crashlandings!
<packbart>
the GPU gets rather loud and noisy, though
<packbart>
Althego: it's in the settings dialog and also in the global settings
<Althego>
lol danny

Althego: I do
<Mat2ch>
I had to look up the video myself now. And, well, we don't rescue Kerbals.
